Collection: "Lit" (2023)

"There was a time, while I was struggling with substance abuse, that I felt like I was burning alive in front of my friends and family, in front of the world. My late teenage years and my early 20s I concealed my substance abuse very well in front of everyone, but when I would go home I would cry and pray to God for help. No person noticed and no person helped. To no fault of their own for they were oblivious to my vices. God put out the fire by giving me something to live for. He gave me the ability to extract the pain and suffering through painting. I consider this painting a Self Portrait mined from the deepest depths of my abysmal soul."
